We’re delighted to share some exciting news – Core Prescribing Solutions has been shortlisted as a finalist in the Supplier – Pharmacy Solutions Provider category at the General Practice Awards 2025.

This national awards programme is one of the highlights of the healthcare calendar, recognising outstanding contributions and innovation across primary care. To have been selected from almost 300 entries across the UK is a huge honour, and we couldn’t be prouder of our team for the role they have played in getting us here.

A celebration of innovation and collaboration

The General Practice Awards, organised by Cogora, bring together professionals and organisations from across the primary care community. Each year the ceremony shines a spotlight on those making a real difference to patients, practices, and the wider NHS.

For us, being shortlisted in the Pharmacy Solutions Provider category reflects the strength of our partnerships with Primary Care Networks (PCNs), GP practices, and pharmacists nationwide. Our model is built around practical support, sustainable workforce solutions, and a real understanding of the pressures general practice faces day-to-day.

This recognition is not only about what we do as a business, but also about the positive outcomes we’re helping to deliver in patient care and staff wellbeing. From reducing prescribing pressures to improving medicines optimisation, we’re proud to stand alongside our clients in driving meaningful change.

Looking ahead to the awards evening

The awards ceremony takes place on Friday 5 December 2025 at the Novotel London West in Hammersmith. It promises to be a glittering evening with a sparkling drinks reception, gala dinner, and the awards ceremony itself hosted by a celebrity guest.

For our team, the evening will be a chance to celebrate together, connect with peers from across the sector, and reflect on the achievements of the past year. Regardless of the outcome on the night, simply being recognised as a finalist among such strong competition is already a huge achievement.
