I’m a London PCN Finance Lead and GP Partner. Core Prescribing Solutions (CPS) is an incredible service that has served my practices and patients brilliantly since October 2020. CPS recruited a dozen pharmacists and pharmacy technicians for our PCN in a matter of weeks. All of the CPS pharmacists have been great and have been dealing with all of our repeat prescriptions, medication queries and QOF/IIF/Enhanced Service chronic disease management. CPS provides the ARRS staff with all the supervision needed so we haven’t had to worry about any training/HR workload and CPS have always been extremely responsive to our changing requirements and feedback. We were initially unsure about using remote staff but it works perfectly. The workload and strain on our practices reduced overnight when we started working with CPS and I wish we signed with them earlier. An amazing NHS service.

The GPs especially Duty doctors has seen a great difference int the amount of medication related work that gets allocated to them.

The role of a pharmacist is so helpful and helps reduce the workload of the GPs and ANPs. The Clinical Pharmacist is efficient and has fitted in really well.
The organisation is very professional and supportive. The service is also not affected by sickness or annual leave. There is a broader knowledge than employing a single pharmacist due to the structure of the organisation.

The service we have received so far is 5*. We are kept in the loop through regular meetings and all staff are very approachable.
